# Buy / Sell Gas Limit

**"Gas limit"** is the maximum amount of work you're estimating a validator will do on a particular transaction. A higher gas limit usually means the user believes the transaction will require more work. \

We recommend using the Buy/Sell gas limit feature for more advanced users who are well familiarised with Ethereum's gas limit standards and requirements.

### How to setup

Click the **"**:droplet:**Buy Gas Limit"** / ":droplet:**Sell Gas Limit"** button in the settings window
